Buffalo River Trip!!!

Yes I am still here!!!! I haven't forgotten how to blog, even though I'm not very good at it, I just haven't found time lately.... Between Cakes, Christmas, Birthdays, Cakes, Playing Cards with Friends, Cakes, and did I mention Cakes! Yes we have been very busy, but loving every second of it!!! Glad to be back in the blog world though.... I've missed it ;)

Back in December we took a quick relaxing weekend to Marshall, AR with some of the greatest people in the world. While we were in Florida this past Summer sitting on the beach, Nik Nik and I decided that we didn't want to leave. So the only thing that got us through was making a pact that we would for sure go back there in December!! Well that satisfied us for a while, at least long enough for the guys to get us to go home. When we got back in the real world we realized that there was noway we could make that trip 2 times a year, so we started thinking a short relaxing getaway would have to suffice. ;) And it was so nice! We found a cozy little log cabin that was perfect for our two families! If you are ever up around that area and want to stay in a cow pasture, check this place out! ha ha http://www.buffaloriverlogcabins.net/ No really it was a beautiful log cabin in the middle of a huge cow pasture. But it had a wonderful 22 acre lake right behind it and it would be so nice in the hot Summer ;)

Here are just a few things that we saw while visiting:

There was even a Christmas Tree when we got there!

This is a lamp from inside the cabin.
It made me think of my mom :)
I think she would like it!

Skylee loved getting up in this shelf everynight before bed.
She'd say, "Just get me a blanket momma, I'll sleep here!"

Me and my BaBiEs!!!!
When Nik Nik and I figured out that there were some pretty good stores in Marshall we had to make a toy run for the kiddos. There's only so much 3 kids can do in a cabin, in the middle of nowhere, for 3 days, with it being soooooo cold outside!!! So we bought 3 of everything and we tried our best to get the same exact toys that way there were no, "But I want that one!" I don't know what we were so worried about? That would never happen with our precious angels! ;)

Isn't he just AdOrAbLe?!?!?!?!? I think he is :o)

They had so much fun with these balloons!!!

On our way home we stopped at a waterfall that mom and dad had told me about when they went up to Pine Grove this past Summer. It was amazing!

I just love this picture of Bran and Doss.

We had a great time with our friends BJ, Nikki and Cash. We can't wait to make more special memories with them in the future!!!

Maybe we will go back sometime in the Summer when it's warmer and the kids can play outside and go wild! I don't even think that we saw Buffalo River the whole time we were there! ;) Oops, that's the whole reason we went! Oh well, we still had a great time!

And just to give a shout out to a very special person that made this trip possible!!! Angie Branch, you are such a Blessing to me and my family! Without you we would not have been able to go on this wonderful trip. You watched my precious daycare kids for me, without me even having to beg you. You are awesome girl! I love you!!! And if anyone is wondering??? If you ever go out of town and ask Angie to do something for you don't be surprised if you come home to a spotless house, clean bed sheets, and clean laundry!!!! Yeah on top of helping me with the daycare, she cleaned my whole house!!! Thank You Angie! I owe you Big Time!!
