And We're Back!!!

We have finally decided to get high speed Internet!!! So I can finally start blogging again. Yay!!!! I have missed the blog world. I guess it is my outlet to the world since I stay home with the kiddos everyday. A lot has happened with our family since the last time I posted...

Starting with our previous post about our newest addition "Luther".... Well about 2 and a 1/2 months after we got him he was stolen :( So that was hard on the kiddos and us too. Sky still misses him and asks, "Will they ever bring him back if he gets too big for them?" So we are learning right now that life isn't fair all the time. :o( So if anyone out there sees a big beautiful Bloodhound anywhere with a small white patch on his chest let us know. Hey we gotta try don't we?

Another big life change we have had is that we have fully committed to homeschooling our children. We did the research and decided that this is the best route for our family at this time. With Brandon being gone so often, the kids really miss out on reaping the benefits of their wonderful father. This way we finish school in the mornings and we can all go spend the day with him if that is what we choose! We have also joined the Christian Home-school Educators (CHE) Co-op in Jonesboro, which will provide us with all of the opportunities that we might have missed out on by not participating in a school system such as; field trips, class parties, sports, socialization time with friends, programs and graduations. They also have a Co-op on Mondays for the kids to take different types of classes that are offered. Since their group is maxed out in the facility that they get to use, a friend of mine and I started a co-op in Paragould. It is going very well right now and this is all do to God's wonderful work.

Skylee joined the Greene County Gators swim team back in the fall of 2010 and she absolutely L~O~V~E~S it!! She has done amazing and we are so very proud of her!

This was Sky's very 1st "real " Swim meet and she had a wonderful time!!!

Doss was potty trained last Summer and we are grateful for this! So GRATEFUL! We just have a few accidents at night because he has decided that he thinks pull-up/diapers are for babies and they are not "comfitable" as he puts it!

We also had a wonderful Christmas and New Year! Although we have had some sickness in our family over the past few months, God allowed us to have a wonderful holiday season with our family. We just try to soak in all the time and memories we can with these loved ones.
I know I am forgetting a lot of happenings in our life over the past 9 months but I will try to post often and keep you up to speed! (As if anyone really cares) LOL! I just like blogging for my own personal viewing sometimes! ;)
